A salon is a small town
inside a small town.

Twelve years in one building means the woman in chair four has been coming since before the nail room existed, the bride upstairs was a flower girl here once, and half the artists on the floor learned the trade in the back room. This is the part of the house that isn't on the menu.

The Baker Building

We share the building with Baker Lofts, which means wedding parties getting ready in our suite can walk downstairs to their ceremony without a car. We keep the doors open for the neighbors, the lofts, and the events that fill the building on weekends.

Oval Beach. The Felt Mansion. Ivy House. Baker Lofts. Lake houses from Saugatuck to West Olive. If you run a venue between Grand Haven and South Haven and want a styling partner who prints a timeline and shows up early, write to weddings@quinnvise.com. We'd like to be on your list.

The Evenings

On Monday and Tuesday evenings the salon opens for one party at a time — bachelorettes, birthdays, mothers and daughters, teams.

The Next Generation

Every artist at QVD trained through our in-house Masters Program, most of them straight out of school. Some stay and climb the levels here. Some take a chair of their own at Mane Janes, our independent salon across town, and keep training with us every week. Either way, they started in this building.
