The Cove House

The Cove House opens to wedding parties at 9:00 AM, and we plan your morning around that start. Two connected suites give us room to run several chairs at once while the rest of the party has the kitchen and the covered patio to themselves. If you would rather begin earlier, or keep the Cove House quiet for photographs, the party gets ready in our bridal suite and arrives finished.

Built for the Rooftop

A rooftop ceremony on the water means a breeze off the lake, bright afternoon light, and a reception that runs well past dark in the Harbor Room. Styles are set for humidity and pinned for the wind. Makeup is applied by hand and set to hold through the ceremony, the photographs on the roof, and the dance floor at the end of the night.

Questions Brides Ask

Can we get ready at the salon and still use the Cove House?

Yes. Many parties start with us in Holland and use the Cove House afterward for photographs and the dress.

Is there a travel charge for Port 393?

When we come to you, travel appears as a single line on your proposal, so there is nothing to settle on the day.

Is Port 393 open for winter weddings?

Year-round. Winter ceremonies move inside to the Harbor Room, and the morning plan stays the same.

What holds our date?

How it Works

1. Inquire.

Date, venue, party size. Two minutes.

2. Hear from Madison.

Our bridal coordinator replies with a proposal and holds your date with a retainer.

3. Trial.

In the salon, with the artist who will style you on the day.

4. The day.

A printed timeline for every person in the party, so nobody asks what time they're due.
