Where You Get Ready

The island has an air-conditioned bride's room, which we use for the bride and her closest few. Larger parties often split the morning, with the first chairs in our suite and the final touches on the island. Either way, you receive one timeline that tells every person where to be and when.

Built for the Gardens

Windmill Island weddings run from mid-April through early October, almost always outdoors. That means sun at the gazebo, wind off the water and an evening in the open-sided pavilion. Styles are set for humidity and pinned for the breeze. Makeup is applied by hand and set to hold in full sun and in photographs beside the windmill.

Questions Brides Ask

Can the whole party get ready on the island?

The bride's room suits a smaller group. For a full party, we start in our suite and finish on-site.

Will my hair hold all day outdoors?

Every style is set and pinned for wind and humidity, then checked again before the ceremony.

Is there a travel charge?

When we come to you, travel appears as a single line on your proposal.
