Bridal hair
& makeup

for Saugatuck & Douglas

Fifteen minutes up I-196, or at your venue with the suite packed into the car.

Quinn Vise Hair Design & Co. has styled Saugatuck and Douglas weddings since 2014 — beach ceremonies at Oval Beach, receptions at the Felt Mansion, and rented houses along the water. Your party gets ready in our private bridal suite in Holland, or we come to you.

The Drive

Our salon sits twelve miles from downtown Saugatuck, straight up I-196. A party of eight can finish in the suite and be at Oval Beach before the first guest parks. If you'd rather stay put, we travel to the Felt Mansion, Ivy House, the inns on Butler Street, and private lake houses across Saugatuck and Douglas. Travel appears as a single line on your proposal, so there is nothing to sort out on the day.

Built for the Lake

Wind off the water, sand, an outdoor ceremony at four, and a dance floor at nine.

Saugatuck styles are built to hold: set for the humidity, pinned for the wind, and photographed before you leave the chair. Makeup is applied by hand and set for a long night and a lot of photographs.

How it Works

1. Inquire.

Date, venue, party size. Two minutes.

2. Hear from Madison.

Our bridal coordinator replies with a proposal and holds your date with a retainer.

3. Trial.

In the salon, with the artist who will style you on the day.

4. The day.

A printed timeline for every person in the party, so nobody asks what time they're due.

The Packages

See All Three
The Intimate Party

The bride and her closest few.

The Full Gathering

The full wedding party.

The Grand Affair

Every package includes a trial, day-of hair and makeup for those who choose it, a coordinator, and a timeline. Your proposal carries the exact number for your party.

What the morning
actually looks like

A morning at Oval Beach, party of 8, 2:00 ceremony

7:30 AM

Doors open. Coffee, a light breakfast, the first two chairs.

8:00 AM

Four chairs running. Bridesmaids and mothers rotate through hair, then makeup.

10:30 AM

The bride's chair. Hair first, then makeup, with her photographer in the room if she wants.

12:15 PM

Last pins, last photographs, dresses on.

12:45 PM

Cars leave for Saugatuck. Fifteen minutes. First look at 1:15.

On-site mornings start earlier by the length of the drive; your timeline shows the real numbers.
