Quinn Vise Hair Design & Co. opened in Holland in 2014 with a few chairs and a rule: every artist is trained here, measured here, and paid for what she is actually worth.
Twelve years later, the rule hasn't changed. The building has.
Quinn
Quinn Vise has been behind the chair for more than twenty years and still is. She founded the salon, wrote the level system every artist works with, and built the Masters Program that trains them. On the floor, she does luxury color, extensions, and precision cutting. Off the floor, she runs the house.
The Building
217 E. 24th Street, Suite 120: the historic Baker Building, brick and light, with free parking at the door. Inside: twelve styling stations, a private bridal suite where wedding parties get ready behind their own door, a nail room with four pedicure thrones and four tables, and a private consultation room for the conversations that shouldn't happen on a salon floor.
The Standard
Every artist at QVD trains through the Masters Program, our in-house education, and is reviewed every quarter against the work itself: the guests who come back, the results that hold, the retail that goes home. Prices start on the menu and rise with your artist's experience, and your number is confirmed when you book. The standard is the same for an artist in her first year and one who has been here since the doors opened.
